That sadly didn't seem to do anything. That is providing I actually followed your instructions correctly though.
EDIT
I was chatting on discord about the issue and another solution occurred to me: Why don't I just move the mesh backwards? That way when it gets pushed forwards it will actually be in the correct place.

Of course you can. But you have to be very precise. I figured out something else. When I change the height in Warehouse/Rig, the sofa stays in place. I did that last time, but I didn't pay enough attention.

Now that does seem to have worked! At least on the file I was messing with.
I might make a brand new clone again and make all of the required alterations again just to make sure it is working correclty.
A massive pain, but I have that many different versions of this package now that I think a fresh start would be best.

Seems that I have finally got the package to a working state now thanks to your help. I've updated the slots and they don't break the large corner piece anymore. If you want to check my work, you can download it here> www.simfileshare.net/download/2590185/

qolygonalJust popping back in to mention that apparently the lighting can be fixed while keeping the phong shader which also means the weird placement rotation glitch doesn't occur. You need to set the UseLargeLotObjectLighting to 1. This information was passed onto me by Ravasheen who learned it from littledica.

Aaaaand now I'm back again to state, for anyone reading this, that setting the UseLargeLotObjectLighting to 1 isn't such a great idea after all as it disables objects from receiving shadows cast through windows and arches for some reason.
Why couldn't EA have just given us a new shader specifically for modular sofas? Would have been much more convenient for us CC creators.

Niiiice.
Anyway, they changed the sofas shader to Counters, didn't they? Maybe they also fixed the rotation problem (yeah, of course). However, I don’t remember that it was mentioned in any patch note.
