 does anyone know what could be causing this issue? I have medium and small slots on the vanity and small slots on the vanity tray, but when I add the small decor item to the tray, it won't slot to the vanity. I even tried to place the tray with the decor item on it on a ea table and it wouldn't place |

I had a weird thing like this happen to me when I was working on some OMSPs and testing them. If the items with the slot were too close together I had issues with placing anything in the slot. I had to move the OMSP farther away to get it to work. Does that make sense? Try moving the tray farther away from the table and see if you can place anything in the slot.
I just realized that you're trying to put a slotted item onto another slotted item making both items stackable. I'm not sure how to fix that and would need to do a Google search. You might want to share your package so someone can see how everything is set up in the package file.

I think that makes sense. I was able to place the tray with the flower on the vanity if I turned on MOO but then when I reloaded the game, the vase disappeared into the family inventory. I spoke to some other CC creators via discord and it sounds like this is currently a bug in the game so I may end up just creating the tray and the accessories as a single object for now until they fix that glitch.

The minimum height for slots on objects is 0.016m. On Maxis' trays — 0.02m.
Items on my trays with a lower slot height are not deleted after restarting the game, though.
