Hey guys! I'm new to creating custom content. I've figured out how to use blender, and I made a chair to test out. I've tried so many things and I have no clue what's going on with the importing process. This is the error message I get.
"Studio is unable to access: C:\ProgramData\S4Studio\Scripts\objectexporter.py because it is being used by another program: blender-app"
I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reset my computer. I've ended all background instances of blender. I always get this same message.

What does the full error say? You can select everything in the error message by pressing Ctrl + A, then Ctrl + C to copy the contents, then Ctrl + V to paste what you copied into your post.

That is the entire message. I have seen posts of longer error messages, but mine does not give me one, nor do I have the option to view more. Just the one little pop-up I posted.

Yes, I do. And I have checked to make sure cuts were the same, etc.

Could you please share the blend file and show us your s4s settings?

First, make sure it's not your antivirus blocking things. Make an exception for Blender in your antivirus. If that doesn't fix it then open Task Manager, and click on the Performance tab, and at the very bottom click Open Resource Manager. Type "Blender" (without the quotation marks) in the search box. You'll see a list of processes that are using Blender. You right-click any of them and choose End Process. This is the 3rd time I've tried to put that image above in this post. If it doesn't show, here's the URL: i.imgur.com/nKl9iHe.png

That chair has way too many polygons. It's more than 82,000 which is tremendously high. You have to lower the polycount and lower it A LOT. Bring it down to about 1,000 polygons or less. Look at an EA chair and compare its polycount to yours.

How do I lower the polygons?

How do I lower the polygons? Use the decimate modifier. It was causing massive lag in Blender. Once I lowered it to less than 1,000 my PC stopped freezing so much. After using decimate, you can further lower the polycount in the rails and the legs by selecting some edges, pressing X, then choosing "dissolve edges." But first, the normals are flipped on the legs and rails, and by that, I mean the faces are inside out. In edit mode, press A to select your entire mesh, T to open the side panel, click on the Shading/UVs tab, then click "recalculate." Then you can dissolve some the edges. I hate to say it but your UV map is a horror, as well. You'll have problems with your textures if it's not fixed. If you need images let me know.

I have fixed all issues above, but am still getting the original message I posted.

Did it work? Perhaps you already know this but you'll need to fix the UV map so that you can texture it.
Edit: the problem with decimate is that it wrecks the topology which can make it hard to mark your seams for UV unwrapping. I usually go through my mesh and use dissolve edges but in your case the chair was so high-poly that it would take hours to go through and remove seams. Using decimate will create some challenges when marking seams. Just be aware of that.
