(Using Sims 4 Studios 3.1.5.3 and Blender 2.70)
Setup:
I took some of the Sims armature bones that are normally hidden in pose mode and used them to animate a specific portion of a Sim mesh on an existing animation. I was able to create the animation and bake it to keyframes, and the animation plays out perfectly fine in Blender. I imported the animation to an override .package for the original animation the edit was based on.
Problem:
The problem is that in-game, the base animation plays but the modified portion doesn't. I checked to make sure this was the case by putting the new animation over a different existing one. I think that this is because the bones I applied the animation to are never animated normally.
How do I get these bones to animate in game?
