So I'm still learning how to make clothing, I'm not making it constantly since it takes a while for me, so I do it whenever I can. Some of my knowledge may be spacey when it comes to this stuff but for some reason I simply cannot get my dress that I made to stop looking pixelated after I weight paint and vertex paint. It looks like this: Moderators edit: I edited the pics Am I doing something wrong? Have I just forgotten a step that's needed? I'm very puzzled right now, I am using blender 2.70 for weight paint and vertex paint so is it that I need to update the blender version I'm using? I also have another question, when it comes to importing said mesh, what item do I use from cas? I've used this, as suggested from a post I found a while back: However in game, it would make the previous shorter dress I made shiny and you could see what the previous item was (you could see the lines of the corset thing) so I didn't like using it. Then I saw you could use this dress to import the mesh: but I went to import the mesh without realising it's pixelated and it didn't show up in s4studio anyway, so what do I use? I'm finding that making full body clothes are a lot harder for me :/ Any advice would be great help.

First, it's best to share your package file. Second, none of your images are showing up. Here's how to insert an image into your post: Upload your image to somewhere like imgur and right-click on the image and choose "open image in new tab." If you don't get the option choose "open link in new tab." Then, you can right-click the image in the new tab that opens and choose "open image in new tab." Copy the URL. Click the button shown in this screenshot: A window will popup. Paste your URL in the box next to where it says "Image URL" then click the Insert Image button. The link will appear as some sort of code. Can't remember what it's called. HTML? As soon as you click Post Quick Reply the image will appear in your post.

Hi. 1). The first issue is cause by Auto smooth feature that needs to be on. 2).You should use an item that is affected by the same bones as yours. Do not use the lingerie set for something that is affected by skirt bones; 3). If you assigned cut numbers, the blend did not import because it was saved in a version of blender that has no plugin. You only need one version of blender, 2.76-2.79. The blender path in s4s setting must lead to the compatible version. There is no need to use 2.7 and do not watch tutorials where you are told to do it There are two key differences in 2.7 and 2.76-2.79 that give people problems. When you click on Transfer weights in 2.7, all vertex groups and values are transferred, in 2.76-2.79 only the values of the active group. All you need to do is change that setting (it’s called Source layer..., change to By Name). However, changing a few more settings will give you a lot better results -make sure both the reference and your garment are visible and selectable; - select the reference, shift-select the garment, in weight paint mode click on Transfer weights, set it like in the pic, then choose Clean with All groups and Limit total. Another difference is that in vertex paint the shading is not flat, so you can switch it to bounding box to sample the color [/quote]
