I tried to create a cc dress (I have experience modeling in Maya, but barely none in Blender), mixing the TuckedTee, and de SunDressStraps from the base game. I transfered the weights and connected the rig but for some reason when I load the cc in the game, the left finger rig is broken and also the shadow textures from the top of the dress are broken, which is really weird to me since the shadhow from the bottom of the dress is okay. Any help is greatly appreciated. It’s my first time making cc. this is how it looks in game Blender File: Blender File (I am using Blender 2.7) Shadow Map: Shadow Map Image

I did not find anything strange with the mesh or the package. Copy the sundress again and re-import the blend there. If this won't solve the issue, replace the arms: - clone the sundress again, export the blend, open it; - select s4studio_mesh_1, select arms fully, press Ctrl I, then press Delete and choose Faces; - File - append - your original package with the dress - objects - s4studio_mesh_1; - delete the parts of arms (s4studio_mesh_1) that are covered by t-shirt sleeves (s4studio_mesh_1.001), join s4studio_mesh_1.001 with s4studio_mesh_1; - re-import in the package that you just cloned

I even tried using the arms from the TuckedTee, but the hand keeps breaking. Here's the new package following the steps above but it still is bugged :( sundress package

I opened your blend file and s4studio_mesh_2 is just a left forefinger. That same finger exists in your s4studio_mesh_1 mesh group, as well. You've got two left forefingers. If you look at the EA dress that you used for your final package you'll see the s4studio_mesh_2 mesh group has that left forefinger, but in s4studio_mesh_1 the forefinger has been deleted. You'll have to do the same. Open the EA dress in Blender and hide s4studio_mesh_2. You'll see what I mean.

I know what you mean I tried using the arms as they come in the original dress, and in fact I did it again with a new file and appending the dress I created, but it still makes the same error. blender file: DressSunStraps blender package file: Dress v9 package
also I still don't understand why the top part of the shadow breaks :c

Can you check if the distortion happens here? Oh, sorry, I forgot about the shadow. It’s because it was imported in png. Shadows should always be imported in dds. S4S converts png to dds in a way that adds black pixels along borders. Re-save your png shadow as dds

Are you checking the file on the highest graphics settings in ts4? Were the previous files in Mods folder? Did you restart the package every time?
You need to save dds with DXT5 (alpha interpolated) or as it is called BC3 in newer versions. Make sure mipmaps are generated as well. Just open a png file and save it as dds, it will probably work.

Oh yeah that absolutely worked! also realized the last version of my package wasn't working bc I originally created it with the previous version of S4S even tho I had changed to the newest one and was working with it in the new one. It was also happening with other cc recolors I was making and I just started a new project on S4S and now they worked as well. So I think using the original arms was the solution just that my file was already like broken or something.

Thank you so much for your help On your last attempt, were you using the file Mauvemorn shared? Because Mauvemorn's file did not have the two left forefingers. The mesh was cut appropriately and the cut numbers were assigned correctly, as well. It's always best to split up your mesh in the same way the EA item that you cloned for your final package file is split up. That hadn't been done in your file. As for the DDS plugin, I'm assuming you found the newest plugin. I had trouble with that one--Photoshop become unresponsive when I used it. I use an older version of the plugin. If the newer version doesn't work you can use one of the older versions I uploaded here.

I’ve used the same mesh as op shared. As I understand the problem was bc op re-imported the blend in the old package instead of creating a new one. The bones were already introduced so that was the problem

The bones were already introduced so that was the problem That makes sense. Wouldn't the double forefinger be an issue though? Seems like there'd at least be some mesh flickering.
