Hi, This has plagued me since the start of TS4 so I am finally going to ask for help. I thought I was an experienced modeler but nay, I feel quite dumb founded at this point, really.
OK. I have been working with windows and doors. Some window meshes no matter how white you make the texture or perfect the UVmap come out gray, and others come out blinding white. Why? I have tried everything except creating the bloody frames by scratch. Any tips?

either you haven't smoothed your meshes OR the problem lies within the specular. white will make it bright. black will make it dark.
