i have a sim in blender that I am trying to apply ik too for posing and better animating. the hand and arms work but the feet and legs don't work. is it the weighting? or is it my fault? or what's the best and easiest way to make ik rigs for sims in blender. imgur.com/a/zkZqHKy

I don't know if I'm the one to help you but I can tell you that you'll need to share your blend and package file if you want help.

Hi. Are you using a custom rig? Or ts4 rig for ripped sims? If it’s the first case, then please redirect your questions to any blender-themed forum.

Well, mostly this forum is for questions regarding getting something into the game. A lot of times you can still get answers to questions here regarding Blender. It just depends. As Mauvemorn indicated, whether or not anyone can help you depends on what rig you're using. A Sims 4 rig is something people like Mauvemorn are familiar with. Custom rigs...not so much.
Are you using a custom rig?

Yeah, judging by the names of bones, you seem to have a custom rig. Creating rigs from scratch is not something any ts4 cc making process requires us to do, so chances that you will receive help here fast enough or at all are low, would be more reasonable to ask for it at Blender themed forums where there are a lot of people knowledgable on the subject. If Mizore Yukii’s response did not help, best to go there (where the body comes from does not matter)

WELL, I made new bones to try ik, but I suck at it. the rig came from Ts4 ripper. those that count as a custom rig? i got the Ik to work, but I'm trying to find out how to do hips now. (1st I wanna pose with Ik to get the pose I'm looking for) (2nd get a rig that works with Andrews pose player.) (3rd copy the movements of bones from the ik to the normal one) basically like tracing a drawing (4th go see if it worked) this is what I wanna try

Hi, I assume you're building your Ik system on top of the normal base rig and that this is the effect you want? As long as you've implemented your IK in each limb, you can already move the hips independently on its own so there's no need to build hip IK on top of it. Just build the system into your rig's arms and feet

There's an insert image button where you can add your image link. Or just post the link in your reply. I don't know where you're at so it's hard to give targeted advice.
