So I am just adding to the tread I created. Cause since no one will tell me where to put this thread, and I can't seem to find where to get help from. I am hoping someone out there will feel bad for me and help!
I am about to throw my computer across the room!
So Before update (When it was update 3.1.5.7) I finally figured out how to get my mods to show up in my build and projects but not CAS by moving my sims 4 studio folder to my documents folder on my D Drive
wait.. let me go back... so i got a new computer about a year ago, when setting up my computer I had someone I didn't know very well helping me with my new computer. to move my Sims 4 game to my D drive with a MKLINK. I do not know much about computers but I run a CC group on Facebook so I collect a lot of CC. I do not use many mods because it always messes up my game.
Anyway. She did a MKLINK to put my game on my D drive, she Also set my S4S on my D Drive as Well.
Now the girl cant help me because she has a life of her own and I have been stuck on my own for months now trying to figure out what she did. I have learned a LOT about my computer in that time but this problem keeps occuring. Whenever I add a new pack I completly have to unistall my S4S folder and go through this. (Just to be clear though, I do not hate on the girl who helped me, I am quite thankful that she did what she did so I could keep my CC folder! She is a very wonderful person!)
So back to S4S... I moved my sims 4 studio folder back to where is was when it was working before. but now the app wont open! .if i don't move it to where the S4S will open then I get a error message saying this
Sims 4 Studio is unable to access a file or folder that it needs:
"Sims 4 Studio\Logs"
This is most likely caused by antivirus software running on your computer.
To continue using Sims 4 Studio without this error, you will need to configure your antivirus software to allow Sims 4 Studio to access the files that it needs.

The logs are there! this messge saying the problem is caused from antivirus... But I have NO antivirus installed! NONE! I have gone through my computer with a fine tooth comb and the only thing I DID have was my McCaffe which i unistalled yesterday! I have even checked all my files and deleted everything that had the word McCaffe on it! All the links from the error message say it is coming fromm AVG, which I have NEVER had! and there is NO sign of any AVG files on my computer. I know this must be a path problem because it worked before when i got the message from the tread i posted down below, and my mods showed up.
There is got to be someone out there that knows what i am talking about and can help me, because at this point I am in tears! Sleep deprived and cussing at the world!
I know I am new here but plzzzzzz for the love of God someone help me! I need S4S!!!!

I have been using Sims 4 Studio for over 2 years now and never came across this issue before, I recently downloaded the new wedding pack and ALL the kits, My game works fine, but now I am getting this error message in Sims 4 studio, I have read a few of the other issues saying it might be a Antivirus on my computer causing this issue, but I have unistalled Mcaffe which was the only antivirus program i had. I also uninstalled my old version, and reinstalled but still I get this message! Can someone plzzzzzz help me? I am currently trying to learn to mesh and I have many recolored projects and i can not go any further until I can use my S4S.
P.S I have plenty of room on my computer, and before I installed the packs it was working just fine.
This is really weird to... I can pull up my old projects, and save a new texture or modify it, but It wont allow me to see or open any new content or make new packages and I can open the build side just fine just not the CAS portion. What is going on? I am completly lost on this one!
