Hello! I made an EA skirt shorter and when I went to go apply the texture, it showed up on the legs just below the skirt. I know it has to do with the UV map, and I have seen other people have this issue, but I just dont get it. Could someone explain how to fix this in simpler terms, somehow? I attached the picture of my issue. Thank you! Picture drive.google.com/file/d/1_oFe6SOsHT18wziLtwI1xXGNxlw9pU-H/view?usp=sharing

Hi. - Open the blend file, choose uv_0, switch to Edit mode (TAB), select everything with A; - In UV editor make sure the uvs are selected as well and set the texture you're using as the background; - you will see that the uvs of thighs overlap with the uvs of the skirt, which means both areas are projecting the same texture; - to fix it, you need to move the uvs of the skirt up, so that it aligns with the texture. Usually, when shortening something, you are meant to re-do uv_1 and weights as well. In your case the change in length is small and the skirt is not tight, so you may not need to do that. But if you plan on creating more in the future, I suggest you to start by watching a mesh editing tutorial where those steps as well as uv_0 editing should be covered in details.

Thank you for your help! I did do what you said and made the UVs not overlap, however, when I add my edited skirt texture, its still too short and will not cover the whole skirt. Do you know of any meshing videos that particularly focus on skirts. Thank you again! Here is the edited UV: drive.google.com/file/d/1I2WvenSd-0YqIJf-jW7mGCwnRmZyVj1H/view?usp=sharingHi. Assign the edited texture of the skirt, not the body. You need to see where the skirt's texture ends to align everything
