Hey y'all! I've been trying to figure this out on my own for a bit but haven't made any progress or found any threads describing an issue similar to mine, so I figured I'd make an account here and ask for help. I want to change the category of a pair of CC facepaint "contacts" so I can use them with another facepaint item. I made a copy of my item, opened it in S4S, and changed the category of all swatches to dimple (right) skin detail. But, after putting it in my mods folder and opening my game, I couldn't find it in the skin detail category. After looking at the file in S4S again and seeing nothing that clearly indicated it being, like, disabled for skin detail, I decided to switch all swatches to an upper chest tattoo. It didn't show up in the tattoo category. I'm kind of at a loss. Is this an issue with this kind of item not working with those categories, or is there some kind of box in S4S I have to check/uncheck? Any help appreciated, thanks!

Hi. It can be the image format. Try this: open the recategorised package, Tools - Modding - Convert image to LRLE (or something like this)

Missed a key moment in your description. When you use Save as or copy-paste the package, you create an identical copy of it. Two packages with identical identifiers are seen as one, not two standalone items You need to clone the package
- find the original package in your \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods, right click on it and choose copy; - go into \Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods, paste the file there; - close s4s if it was opened; - open s4s again; - in the main menu of s4s, under CAS button, choose Create CAS Standalone or Create 3D mesh; - filter Content by Custom; - select the custom package, save it in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder; - change the category. If needed, change the uvs and textures
