Hello, i hope i´m right here. since the last s4s update i have an empty catalog in s4s when i start a new object or build. no name or description and all lang strings are empty. english is not my mother lang so it was helpfully to have the original name and description when create a recolor. i delete s4s folder in documents, i reinstall s4s, i change langs .... but nothing fixed this. game and s4s are uptodate. can anyone help fixing that problem?

Hi. Make sure your game path looks like this, with \ at the end. Then save and restart s4s  |

Leave the path with \ and try deleting s4s folder from my documents again. If won’t help, try repairing the game

I hate to say this but all this does not help because I too have the same problem since the last two studio updates and I have also posted about it several times in the studio bug thread. My strings are blank ever since and there is nothing helping no matter what I have tried and my game is correctly installed repaired and everything. I do not play in English either, maybe that’s why we have this issue.

I found a solution, not this i had before but a solution. i got description and strings back, but only in my mother lang. the problem is, that when i choose a path (or let do s4s it) in settings, s4s choose the path "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4". This path isn´t correct for users they have computers in other langs. so i changed it manually to "C:\Programme\EA Games\The Sims 4" and the other one to "C:\Benutzer\-\Dokumente\Electronic Arts\Die Sims 4". Now i have german description and strings back, but i had it, befor the wedding update was out, in english, when i change s4s to english lang. Any idea how i get it back to english lang?

Bumping this thread because I still have this issue with blank string tables in my native language since several months now. The steps alyssian made to get back the German string tables, did nothing for me. I have posted again in the bug thread yesterday and today about of all the steps I tried so far. My last step today was to change the game language for further testing purpose which in result finally loaded string table information into a new clone, but in english, of course. Switching my game back to my native language (German), reinstalling Studio in hopes that Studio would now read and load the German string tables into new clones, failed. The clones are now not blank anymore, but Studio only loads english string table infos and descriptions into the clones, even though the German string tables are clearly there in Game File Cruiser. So now I'm really out of any more ideas and are hoping that there will be a solution for this issue soon. |

I have same problem :( String tables are normal when I change the game's language to English but when it's changed to my mother tongue again, it still has English description nothing above helps .. |
