This is an unpopular opinion especially amongst players of previous franchises. I thinks Sims 4 is actually a pretty good game. It has a lot to offer and it definitely has its negatives and it had a lot of much needed improvements over the years but I still thinks its pretty good. The build is the best its every been in the franchise. The way you can place items on half tiles, alt place items, and the organization of the build items are all severely lacking in previous franchises. CAS is also great. Its no secret that Sims 3 sims were ugly..no matter how many mods you used. Sims 4 sims can easily look decent without mods or even packs. Using base-game alone, you can easily make diverse and interesting looking sims appvalley tutuapp tweakbox. Also, the gallery is a wonderful addition. I love how I can search for a type of house or sim and easily download it with little effort. Of course, the actual game play does have some faults but the fact that you can have your sims sit, watch a movie, talk to each other, and eat all at the same time is amazing! You get things done so much faster and have more time improving skills or interacting instead of spending all your time trying to take care of your sims' needs. Overall, I think the game is a lot better than people tend to make it out, especially if they played sims 2 and/or 3. Sure, there are much needed improvements but this is not rare in the Sims franchise. Besides, a lot of the flaws are being addressed, albeit slowly. I think overall, its a great game and if the sims team continues listening to the community and adding the needed improvement, I think people's opinions will shift more towards the positive side of things.
