I'm not into the realistic designs we find on internet. And finding high resolution images of clothing seems almost impossible (if possible at all) Also my UV_0 are really annoying me, if I make something seamless, it's not actually seamless. I've noticed a lot of creators can create the Uv_0 like EA does with their clothing. How do I turn this UV_0 into something like this:

Hi. You can transfer them the same way you do with uv_1 but it will not look as good because of the difference in the topology. Making sure that the seam on the garment exists in the same place as on the reference will give better results

The best way would be to import the maxis dress in MD as patterns and work from there instead of making the dress from scratch. Then the patterns would more or less align. I think I showed how to do it hereAlternately, in MD you can create an internal line on the existing dress that aligns with the seam. Then you split the patterns(in md) or the mesh(in blender) along them. And the last thing you can do is use Knife tool in blender to create those edges on the dress along the seam on the body, then split the mesh.

But MD keeps crashing when I try to import the EA mesh. It loads up to 85% of the mesh when importing and crashes right after. So I have to fix that first before I can continue.

Mmm, did you export only the dress? As in, did you have the dress selected and Selection only enabled?

Mmm, did you export only the dress? As in, did you have the dress selected and Selection only enabled? I did in Blender 2.77. Also tried with a simple shirt (only exported it, didn't edit the mesh)
These are the only options I have checked on in MD. It's a half mesh, as I cleaned it up just like in the vid. It loads up until 85% and then it crashes. No warning or whatever.I tried with a new unedited mesh as well, but same results.

Try unchecking Auto scale, import in meters If won’t work, share the obj please

That did the trick, now I can continue . Still odd. But my MD has many flaws. Could be because it’s a rather old version and it’s…pirated.

It more a matter of Auto Scale working oddly. Sometimes it can make the garment very big. This of course results in a very high poly mesh, so it can be the reason why md crashes
