Hello!
I want a bigger table with more seating. I like having big, extended families and bringing them all together for holiday dinners and none of the current tables are big enough, so I'm trying to make one which has four seats on each side and one on each end. I started with the Fermata as the base for the rig and made a mesh based on duplicating a six seater. I've figured out a lot of my issues but I have one remaining.
I originally tried to add chair slots 10 and 11 by adding bone/root things like 0-7 and it wasn't working. So I co-opted the booth slots (8 and 9) and turned them into chairs, then futzed about with the placement of everything until it looked right. Everything looks right in S4S (all the little cylinders are in the right spots) but in the game when the sims sit in the two spots that used to be 8 and 9 their food ends up in another place (they can still eat). Since the cylinders are in the right spots I'm not sure where to look for the problem. Possibly related is that when I try to have the sims set the table no places are set there (even though they have cylinders marked for placemats).
Does anyone have an idea of where I'd look to find what the issue is?
Thanks!
(And thanks for all the answers in the long history of posts that were researched to work out all the other issues.)
