Hi! I hope I'm in the right place to post this thread. I'm having problems with how the crop top I created would look in game. Everything looks good but I went I zoom out, there's a blur line at the hem of the shirt. Here's an example of another croptop I made with the same problem.

Hi. When you zoom out, more objects get in the view and need to be rendered. To speed up this process, the game not only switches LODs of every mesh but scales down the texture. The further you will zoom out, the smaller it will become and the gaps in texture will become thicker. if using maxis textures: In the image editing software just add a bit of paint in that region if baking textures: To avoid it, always bake textures with pretty big margins (at least 7 for the default size of textures). You don’t have to rebake them, can simply paint over that area in the image editing software. However, I think it might be faster to bake a new textures with big margins and just put it underneath the current one

Thank you for explaining this problem, mauvemorn! I'm using maxis textures of this. And I want to try your solution but if I add more paint, wouldn't it make the shirt longer? For my reference, is there an existing tutorial in baking textures? I'd like to try that as well.

You are meant to extend the texture by a relatively small number of pixels. If you have no space for that - the body's uvs are right next to it - then you need to move the body's uvs down. As you see, Maxis developers always leave a space between the body's uvs and the garment's. You can see that this space is filled with color If you dont have that space, enable sync, press B, click-and-drag to select the top row of edges on the body's uvs, press G Y, and move them down a bit
If you are making maxis match clothing, it is best to not bake textures, they would be inferior to those of maxis

Hi mauvemorn! I finally figured it out my original problem but now the skin is separated from the shirt. Do I just join the skin vertex to the shirt's vertex?
