I'm not a new user, but I had to reinstall blender recently (2.76b) and since then I couldn't get the add-on to work. All the path seem to be correct but the error message is claiming the Blender path is not allowed/found. What do I do?
I can't add a photo so here are the paths written manually:
sims 4 path C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\
Sims 4 documents C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
Blender path C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe

Hi. Try this close blender and s4s, go to C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\addons\. If it does not look like in the pic, download this .zip, open "addons" folder inside of it, select 3 folders, and move them into C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\ addons\ so that it looks like in the pic  - then open blender 2.76b again, check if it has s4studio cas tools |

Hi, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately it didn't help with the error message coming when I'm trying to export mesh. I would send the message but half of it is in my native language so it wouldn't be much of a help I guess. But at least I got the addon in Blender haha.

Did you change the blender path after re-installing it, even if it is identical to the original? By setting the path and hitting Save you make s4s put the plugin in Blender folder

I did change the path because at first I tried to re-install Blender through zip and it didn't really work out. However, even if s4s plugin works there is still this error message that says access is restricted. Maybe I misunderstood your last message?

If you have the d drive, move s4s and blender there, run s4s as admin, then re-do the process of changing the path. |

You need to either move s4s and blender to the d drive or give s4s the permission to do anything ( explained how to do it here, in both replies) |

I have tried moving programs, tried running them as admin but nope, the error during saving exported blend file is still there. In addition i cannot for the love of everything find the "C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\addons\" path. There is no appdata nor roaming folders altogether. Sorry for the mess, I just can't understand why it won't suddenly work.

Please don’t skip steps, tell right away that you cannot find or do something. It is possible that AppData or Roaming are hidden

Found the hidden files, thank you! It was dumb of me not to mention it earlier.
The error, however, is still occurring... At this point I'm thinking of re-installing the Studio to see if that would help. The error is stating that the files from the zip above are not found even though I have added them where needed :-/

Usually re-installing does not help but maybe you could try installing with the installer instead of .zip
You could also try deleting s4s folder in \Documents\
