Usually when a mesh fails to appear in the viewer it's because of a cut number mismatch. Yah thats what i read on the forum .. but even when i set the same cut number from an original mesh, to a new mesh it wont show in the preview window in sims4studio..
I tryed another mesh and i get the same result.. ex:
-in sims4studio, i export a plant's mesh.. -in blender, in open the 'plant' mesh and make sure the cut is still the same.. -i modify it, then export to an 'obj' ... -in sims4studio i import the 'obj' ... ..then, i cannot see the changes in the preview window..
Pretty sure i'm just forgetting a step or something, i'il try it again this week..

Studio doesn't import .obj it only imports .blend. If you have exported the plant as a .blend and then you make no changes that are saved to that .blend when you reimport it it will look exactly the same as it did when you exported it. After making your modifications to the plant just save it as a .blend and import that .blend back to Studio. There are tutorials going over this in the Build/Buy/Tuning tutorial section that will be helpful

Well, everything's fine now! I did everything correctly but 1 thing needed t be done: resizethe mesh in blender. Apparently i forgot to resize the meshe and it was bigger then the scene :P I resized it to a regular size and now everything shows up as ts suppose to!
UNRELATED QUESTION: is it possible to add to an object, the ability to grow? Like plants and veggies in game..

I made those also. I did so by cloning the nude top and bottom and then saved them in .obj format in Blender. Those nude meshes are the only nude meshes for a Sim that the game has. They show up in Studio wearing a garment because Studio is rated PG 13 but the meshes themselves are the nude meshes. The way a Sim is constructed is that the clothes make the Sim. If you removed the clothes from a clothing mesh you will find there is nothing underneath them. It would help, perhaps, to know exactly what it is you're trying to accomplish...then people could advise you on the best way to go about the project. Ahh excelent! Well, i got my answer when you said ''those nude meshes are the only nude meshes for a sim that the game has'' :D
..now i've started, in blender, to make a beautifull female body alternative, with labia, clitoris, and nipples.. but if i add vertex, will it all be distort in-game or do i have to repaint the weight or something?
Did you have good results with this..? I haven't found anything like BobbyTH girl next door body for ts3..Been looking everywhere. If yours is great, I'd love to use it in my game!
