Hello! My storage/RAM etc are all perfectly normal and this did not begin to become an issue for me until after the Werewolves patch. I thought updating to the newest version of S4S once they had an update for the patch, would resolve it, but it has not. It happens as I import new swatches and the error messages seem to randomly alternate, though it may be that I simply don't understand what the application is trying to tell me. Any help or solution to this issue would help tremendously, and probably help others currently facing this issue this year. Thanks in advance!
I am currently on the most recent version of S4S 3.1.6.0 and I'm receiving a similar error:
ERROR MESSAGE 1:

Hi. I don’t know if this will help but try: 1). Restarting your computer unless you’ve already done that; 2). Deleting s4s folder from Documents

It is a version of 3.1.6.0 (Wishes).
RAM capacity is sufficient. It's no use turning off all the vaccines and reinstalling s4studio. .NET Framework, graphics driver are all the latest versions. help!! ㅠㅠ

Hi! I have the same issue as well! Only S4Studio is open and when I monitor task manager at the same time, my memory usage never goes above 40%. Genuinely thought it was only me haha! It happens when I try to import textures (not thumbnails, but HQ textures for skin details).

So far this seems to only be related to skin textures, thank you guys, I’ll report it while we’re at it, are you guys saving dds as uncompressed/using png for skin details ? Not BC3/DXT5

Hello, guys. I also seem to have this problem like Slephora. But it applies to eye swatches too. I use .png (This was not a problem in prior updates) to save my images due to dds compression looking worse in game However, this error actually decides to pop up before I even export textures and just decide to view swatches. I try different levels of compression but the result is the same. I have plenty of memory remaining. I also use HQ textures.

Not BC3/DXT5 Thanks for replying, it isn't just related to skin textures as I'm also a makeup creator and it happens whenever I create makeup or skins. It doesn't matter if I use .dds uncompressed, .dds DXT5, or PNG, the program gives the same error. Please notify the developers of this, because it's not just the skins. <3

Hi, guys. Andrew found a way of reducing the memory usage but would appreciate if you could share/link some big skin/makeup/eye packages that cause you problems so that he could run more tests

I create the package, change the composition method and display index, and then add the texture but still get the same error.

It is only happening to me when I open a 408MB CC skin detail with very detailed HQ sized textures. I can't fix a problem if I don't have an example of the problem.
