I'm glad you got it working. The rainbows and question marks will show up if the game encounters an object that has an image it doesn't know how to render. This usually occurs as the result of an incorrectly sized diffuse image. The reason why the problem can seem to show up at a later point is that the render problem doesn't show up in certain games while it does show up in others. This is because it is video card dependant. People with certain video cards will not see the rainbows and question marks while others do. This is why it's important to use the correct sizes for images even if you don't necessarily see the rainbow image in your game. Images should be made so that each side is in a power of 2 (2 n) so that no one gets rainbows showing up.

Hey there! I'm resizing my painting, is there a way to change the placement squares?(not really sure what they're called). Since if I resize my object to be significantly smaller it is still showing 3 squares for placement. I feel bad bothering people for help and I usually find my answers through google. But I'm really stumped since I'm not sure what term I should be using to bring up this problem. imgur.com/a/xBr8BHere is the .package file if it would help www.mediafire.com/file/z0hjp1wdy3uc58d/shiroagain.packageI'm still working on the shadow. I did as instructed but I will have to play around a bit more to see if I can figure it out

I'm still working on the shadow. I did as instructed but I will have to play around a bit more to see if I can figure it outLol nevermind, I was able to find what I needed with some more digging I'll leave what helped me here for anyone with similar questions sims4studio.com/thread/4509/use-studios-automatic-footprint-featuresims4studio.com/thread/3574/fix-type-sims-object-shadowIm not sure why but I couldnt get the shadow to work properly by deleting it as said in the OP. I had to use the above guide to get it to work. But thank you so much Orangemittens for your fantastic resources <3

You're welcome And certainly don't feel you have to spend hours Googling/struggling if you're following a tut here and run into questions. If you have a question, it's certainly the case that others have the same one. Also, EA changes things so sometimes tuts written awhile back need updating and that only becomes apparent when someone asks why the tut isn't working. Asking questions isn't bothering

Hello :-)
I do not know what I am doing wrong. I follow the tutorial step by step, but when I import the changed meshed back into Studio it is still square, and not rectangular. I have tried over and over and over again. I am getting grey hair over this. I have the tutorial open on my laptop and I follow every step on my computer.
Also, is it possible to change the shape of a mesh without the image?
