I did search for my question before posting here, but I didn't find any answers to my question. The thread I did find linked this image. Your texture must be saved as a png or an uncompressed DDS B8G8R8A8 {Linear, A8R8G8B8} with mip maps.I'm having the same problem, but with one major difference: I was able to import the eyebrows I was recoloring into S4S as DDS, but suddenly I wasn't able to anymore. I've tried everything I could think of trying. I reinstalled S4S and reinstalled the DDS plugin into Photoshop. There shouldn't be any reason why this is happening, but it's still ongoing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried just using pngs? I haven't used DDS for anything studio related in quite a long time.

Hi. Are you getting the insufficient memory error?

Hi. Are you getting the insufficient memory error? No. Just what I linked to above. Have you tried just using pngs? I haven't used DDS for anything studio related in quite a long time. I've found that recoloring with pngs makes certain hairs in the game have a weird edge around the hairline that DDS doesn't have.

Gotcha. I don't really recolor hairs. so I don't see that issue that often.
