So I've been making cat tails, adult and child versions, and I've noticed an issue where some CAS animations go weird in specific situations while they're equipped. For children, one arm gets messed up during the hand-wringing animation that girl sims do (but only if they don't have the left base game bracelet or a cc that uses the same slot equipped; probably important to mention that this is the bracelet I cloned to make the tails, though they've been switched to the glasses slot in S4S for texturing reasons). For adults, the vampire hissing animation gets distorted in a similar way, but for both arms, and only on masculine-framed sims wearing a feminine top.
Here are the package files for the adult and child versions, any help would be hugely appreciated because I have no idea how to fix this one.

Hi. You must never clone yuCummerbund. Try cloning gloves or something like that instead

I didn't clone yuCummerbund, these were cloned from the left children's bracelet, adult ones were cloned from one of the base game carnival masks if I remember.

You should always try to clone maxis items that are affected by the same bones as your item. - clone the nude bottom for masc frame, import all meshes and textures there; - change the category to whatever accessory you want that to be; - remove the buff - save the package, go back to main menu, open it again and it will be displayed correctly; - test in-game, dont know if it will work but it should; - if it will, repeat the process with the child frame

Ah, I was picking CAS Standalone rather than 3D mesh. Still honestly have no idea why it's labelled as cummerbund because that is very much not a thing I've ever knowingly cloned, but thanks for the info!

Create 3D mesh and Create CAS standalone actually do the same exact thing, people just think the latter is for recolors only, so I don’t want to confuse them and then explain why there are two options for the same thing (used to work differently, then the developers decided s4s should not embed all resources automatically, but left both options to not cause the confusion)
