I want to create a candle, but none of the EA's meshes are good for me. I also want to upload it one day (I'm new to creating cc). If i will upload it, do I just need to link mesh? Should I ask creator's permission to use their mesh?

Hi. The first thing you need to do is check if the creator has Terms of Use (TOU). There they should have specified if they allow others to modify their content. You may ask right away because a candle is not a big deal.
If you do not need to modify the shape of the mesh, a simple recolor without including the mesh would be enough. If you need to reshape the candle, then yes, you’ll have to include it.

Thank you so much for answer. I found appropriate mesh and checked creator's tou, they're fine with using their mesh. Sorry for posting question in wrong place btw!
