Dear littledica99, we're happy to provide a free tool and very happy that others can use it to make money as you do. These are hard times. When we started this project, we didn't know that life would get so difficult or that this app would help people make it through. We are committed to sticking with this project, and we do it because we enjoy working on our project and we care about the people in our community.
As far as the "passionate" community that you mentioned goes, there are open source projects they could work on. The first was in existence before Sims 4 launched. No one signed up at the start, and, to date, no one has signed up. If they do, we'd be happy to help them if they run into questions or problems.
What we aren't willing to deal with is self-entitled people who come here and disrupt our community. You fit that description. What I suggest to you is that you read your posts and consider what you've said. You are a person making money using Sims 4 Studio. You have contributed nothing here. Throughout the years of this forum's existence you've occasionally ask for help (and received it) and now you are showing up with groundless demands. Throughout those years you've made rude demands before. You need to check yourself. You are behaving in a toxic fashion. One more ask or rude demand from you and I will remove your account. You are a creator who could be helping people, but you don't. You do nothing for anyone here.
How dare you.

You are a creator who could be helping people, but you don't. You do nothing for anyone here. How dare you. Well, i apologize if it came across that way, it was never my intention to create a rude or toxic environment around my suggestions and / or questions in Creator Help. I believe it is unfair to say i've done nothing for anyone here seen as though i've created many tutorials on here that i haven't shared anywhere else, and have linked people to my tutorials on here many times to help people know this forum exists. So that hurts a little, but that doesn't matter. All i'm trying to do is help improve a tool i've been using for literal years, there hasn't been a moment since 2016 that a computer of mine didn't have Sims4Studio installed, i probably launch it everyday at least once a day. It all comes from a place of love for the tool and geniune want to see it shine and be the best it can be. My brain can't compute why the help that was offered for development throughout the years has been turned down, cause that would contribute greatly to that vision of mine, and i'm sure of yours as well. I'm geniunely sorry if i came across as rude, i re-new my promise to not share any more messages on this thread, i wouldn't want to cause more trouble. As i've mentioned many MANY times to friends and fellow CC Creators of mine, i would be SO down to donate to the project if that was an option, and many others are willing to do so as well. I'm not sure if that ever crossed the dev team's minds but it's definitely something i've always looked forward to. It's only fair since the amount i use the tool that i stated above. Again sorry for the rude vibes i created, it wasn't my intention, have a great rest of the week!

Is there a batch function for updating a group of packages all at once to change nothing but their Simolean price? I've scores of packages from a single creator, all of a single category, and rather than hunting them down because they're scattered throughout the Sims4 catalog, to group them together by price. I've done it in the past manually, but that's extremely tedious going from package to package.

1. Not sure if a bug, but when using "Restore Tuning Comments" it ignores custom tuning added to the S4S mods folder, it only does the custom strings added there. 2. I've had 4 modders in my server suggest something similar and I would like it too, but could the ability to drag and drop files, or move them in some other form, be added? This way we can re-organize files so it's easier to keep track of stuff, like re-uniting files that were renamed later because you made a mistake, or grouping based on relationship, etc. xD In the same context, someone also suggested making folders inside the package that (hopefully) have no effect on the game, this way stuff can be opened and collapsed as groups and to organize files better. I don't even know if something like that is possible but tossing it here in case you'd be interested in adding if it was. 3. Kinda related to the above, but there was also a suggestion for a Recently Modified tab for easier tracking of files that were just edited/updated. 4. Still sorting but this time strings, could something like alphabetical sorting be added for strings? Right now there's no way to sort them so tracking down a specific string is difficult in large string tables. 5. When using the duplicate button, could new instances be automatically added, or at least the ability to name them right then and there? Would make multiple items of the same type and very little changes easier to add. If the naming route is taken, maybe it could auto-fill the box with the previous files name so something like "Two" can be manually added to the end? 6. Since build styles serve a purpose now, any chance these could be a tag of some sort on the Studio tab for easier adding? I know the way it currently works is with a reference and not a tag based on EA using it, but just suggesting it in case anything can be done for all that CC out there using random styles. Thank you for considering.

Just came to make the same suggestion, though I know it may already be planned. Previously the style categories had some potential use, but since all they were good for was filtering the BB catalog, and the selection of options EA gave us is poor, their usefulness was very limited... now they actually have a gameplay function, so a lot more people will be wanting to tag both their own creations and their downloads for decor styles.

The PartDescriptionKey field is at the top of my wishlight right now for sure. I was starting to seriously consider re-thumbnailing most of my CAS content, but if we can populate that field, I won't have to. (Even better if I can do it to an entire directory at once.) It occurs to me also that a natural partner for enabling this field to be edited would be a batch operation to populate the empty PartDescriptionKey fields with the filename of the package.

I just delved slightly into hair creation recently and was wondering if it would be possible for the Palette feature to include the archtype tags as well when saving and importing a hair palette?

I'm not certain if this can be done through a batch fix, but it would be really cool if there was one to add the tags for cc pool objects - they all need tags added to each swatch (like the pool water) and possibly one more (for oceans). Please see this thread: Pool Deco MissingI manually updated all my creator water colors (as not all creators are still around) from this thread: Pool Water Show Again
Is it possible to use this added feature in some way? "Apply to All Swatches" button for Object Tags - from page 1 of this thread. If it isn't possible, I totally understand. Thank you, again, for all you do to make our game playable.

Not sure if there's one already, couldn't find it in the cheats list. But I would like to have a cheat in Studio for deleting all catalog thumbnails at once.

One-click export of all textures of a given package as .png into the same directory as the currently open package.

One-click export of all textures of a given package as .png into the same directory as the currently open package. If you press Ctrl+Shift+C a cheat bar will open in Studio. You can then enter: studio.exportallThis will export all textures, but also the meshes. These can be removed if not needed. It's not exactly what you want, but almost!

Hi, is there any way for the S4S carpet object to support transparency? It's square and I tried using it for a circular carpet but the corners were solid black rather than alpha.
