Hi there. I am wondering if there is anyway that I can do a partial glass shader CAS to my mesh. I've edited an EA mesh to include custom hair that includes the head wrap instead of having the wrap in the hats. Everything set up okay until I mod the mesh with the glass shader and now I have this: imgur.com/gallery/LytGMwV Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The link to your screenshot is a dead end, unfortunately. If you want transparency in your mesh you have to clone something that has at least two groups. One group will use the simskin shader and the other will use the simglass. This tutorial may help but I haven't tried it myself. And there's this conversation, as well. This thread has answers about creating a new cut (mesh group) but it's for objects. The principle is the same. You want to have a mesh group that you will assign to simglass. If you can clone something that has the number of mesh groups you need, that would be best. If not, you'll need to add a new mesh group to your package. I love your work, by the way. Very cute hairstyles.

Hi. We would need to see the files to know how many meshgroups the hair itself is made of. However, you can split your item into two meshgroups: - the first one is for every part of the hair that needs transparency; - the second one is for everything else, including the head wrap.
Then clone glasses, export the blend, open it to check cut numbers. There will be lenses and the frame. The first meshgroup from your blend must replace the lenses, so assign their cut number to it. The second one needs to replace the frame. Save, import.
