Hi everyone !
Maybe you remember I posted some creations and questions around here. Long time I haven't played the S4 or made any CC. I have downloaded the latest S4 Studio version trying to make a simple makeup recolor using a eyeshadow from the game as a base. So I made my recolor with photoshop and saved the texture as a .png file as usual and tried several time to import the new texture on S4 Studio to see how it turns out and... nothing. My modified texture does'nt show up. The original texture doesn't change. Did I miss something ? I have never seen that before and assumed it was because of the updates with the latest version of S4S I have installed.
Please help, Best regards,
AugusteS

Share your package just in case it's needed. And when you say it doesn't show up do you mean it doesn't show in Studio or in the game? I'm assuming you mean Studio but wanted to double-check. My thinking is that maybe the original texture is still in Studio in the warehouse section and you need to delete them or replace the EA textures with your own.

My recolor doesn't even show up on the sim model in S4S when I upload the new texture ! I have done so many CC with S4S and I've never experienced something like that before !! Here is a screencap, you can see the texture I've uploaded for this eyeshadow is blue but is not showing on the 3D model. S4Sbug by AugusteS, sur Flickr

I wanted to see your package file so I could look at what's going on in the warehouse.

Hi. Try restarting a package. For some reason s4s just added textures in the warehouse without attaching them to the swatch.

What is strange is that the latest version of s4s has been around for a month when you reported this issue, yet it seem to have been the first report Another person found a temporary solution, though: - create a new swatch; - import a texture; - Tools - Modding - Convert RLE2 to LRLE; - once done with all of them, delete the first swatch
