Hi, I'm trying to use the sims 4 studio along with Gimp to change the material makeup of a regular pair of white pants into a tye dye material for pants. I have found the image I want to use for the material and have opened up the image as well as the pants png. However, I am stumped at the next step. I've tried doing a search for a tutorial online, and through you tube but havent had much luck finding the tutorial I need, so I thought I would ask here.
I'm basically a newbie at making custom content on sims 4 besides making t-shirts with custom content on it and I haven't really done any custom stuff since the sims 2 lol. Things have changed alot in like 20 years.... anywho, thanks in advance for any tips or pointers.
Oh, forgot to mention, I have done the export of the pants package/png that gets created in the studio as well and thats what Im trying to apply the tye dye stuff to. Maybe thats where Im doing something wrong....

Hello! Best would be to search for some recoloring / retexturing tutorials, there are a lot of them and will show you how to add your texture step by step Search in google for The Sims 4 recolor tutorial and watch few of them

thanks a bunch. I'll do that. It's been a while, so my brain is rusty. Much appreciated!
