i've been recoloring hair for a while but ran into an issue i've never seen where the hairs look fine in cas, but in game it looks like they have parts of the mesh missing. the original meshes don't have this issue, and originally they were just recolors with the meshes needed, so i also tried including the mesh but get the same result. if anyone knows what's up i would apprechiate the help! otherwise i will try remaking the recolor completely and see if that fixes it.

Hi. The uvs just have nothing to project, so they project nothing lol. When you zoom out, the game shrinks all images in the scene to improve performance and the area of "nothing" becomes bigger. Did you compare the original next to yours side-by-side in live mode? If yes, can you link us the original, any edited package and one diffuse texture?

If yes, can you link us the original, any edited package and one diffuse texture? here is a comparison of the originals to the recolors with the uv issues, and here is a link to a google drive that has the original meshes (they come from here) and my recolors (named 'EEZOSHOT') i also included a diffuse texture in png and dds for the camillie hair thank you for your help!

To be honest, im not sure why this issue does not happen in the original package. I guess yours just underwent more compression (being exported, saved, imported) and it appears sooner The checkered background is what i mean by "nothing". As you see, between the nothing and the uvs is only about 3 pixels of texture. This is nowhere near enough for this issue to not appear. To fix this, you need to turn these 3 pixels into at least 7

No, you don’t need to move the uvs, you just need to add a strip of paint where « nothing » starts. Go back to your file with all colors and edit the main layer by painting a ~4px strip there
