So my sim finally opened her art gallery. She's selling original paintings and it's going well for the most part. This is the first business I've sun in Sims 4 and I was curious how others run their business by comparison. So far it's just her, her husband, and teenaged step-daughter who work the gallery. They sold five paintings last night, made around $6,000 simoleons. Not too bad this was only the second time I played the gallery. I definitely could do better though. It took nearly ten hours to make the sales and by then everyone was exhausted. I have a rest space for them on the lot but 10 sim hours is a long time to make a sale. Everything is set to pricey but it's art so it shouldn't cheap. The other thing my artist doesn't get fame points from selling in her own gallery which is a disappointment since I kind of want her to be a well-known painter. I haven't hired employees since there isn't much for them to do on the lot. I've read that they're not so good at sales, there's almost no clean-up and she just paints all the art so employees would be pretty useless, right? 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254Are there things I can add to the lot that will make sims buy faster? Am I wrong about not hiring employees? I would love it if she could focus on painting while employees did everything else. Is there a way to make money off other things on the lot like plates of food or something along those lines? If you've run a gallery or similar business that sold crafted items how did it go? Do you have any suggestions of tips or tricks?
