some of the makeup i have downloaded cannot be worn by male sims (mostly eyeliner). but i have so much of it downloaded. is there a way to search all packages that have the restrict opposite gender box ticked? or do i have to do it by hand, manually.
also: if i remove the opposite gender restriction, do i also have to flag the makeup as male? thanks!
edit: trying to 'batch fix' (update cas cc for all genders) results in this message:
No Fix Needed (613)
mods are still gender restricted, however >:(

I think you're going too hard into this, you should just untick the female / male settings in cas and use what you want. I know it's not ideal, but it should still be accessible by fiddling with the sort function of vas. or tag him as "preferring feminine items" and it should become available too.

thank you for the response, but some items are gender/frame restricted by mod creators within sim studio; i have to go in & un-restrict them. been searching around the forums though. apparently this is a recent glitch? could be wrong

maybe a glitch with the CC itself. You could try asking in the creator help section, see if anyone can point you to tutorials. Not many answer stuff in the general chats.
