Is there any way to link different specular map for different diffuse map? Like the question asked, I want to put design on my cc and have some shininess only on the design. The problem is I want to use differnt design on each swatches, and when the specular map is replaced/deleted for a single swatch, it'll also be deleted for the rest of the swatches. I found the tutorial video from a while ago on emission map that you still have to link emissin map to the geometry manually, does that work for specular map on different diffuse too?

Hi. In theory you should be able to add a new resource and link it to a specific CAS part, but there is an easier way. - create a package that contains all the swatches without the shine; - save the package; - File - Save as under a different name; - import the shiny specular, delete unwanted swatches, import diffuse maps, save; - now you have two package with identical identifiers ( appear as one item in-game) but different speculars. So now you can just merge those packages into one and everything should work as you want

You can do it for CAS items for sure. I often create 2 specular maps. My steps are:
1. On the Warehouse tab duplicate the existing specular file and give it a new instance. 2. I generate instances in the hash generator (Tools -> Hash generator) 3. Import a new specular map in that newly created resource so you will know that it's a different specular. 4. Paste that instance number in every CAS part that corresponds with swatches that you created a separate specular map. Just search by the word "specular" on the Warehouse tab in CAS Part and paste a new instance number.
