I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'd be really appericative if some would could help me. There are weird black shapes and glitched walls in my game, i dont know what is casuing this. I'm playing with mods i've tried messing around with them but haven't found a specfic mod to be the cause. the problem is isolated to the apartments in the spice market district i have found nothing else to be affected. I have tried google but cannot find help for this problem there. screenshots

Hi. This kind of looks like the bones are messed up. Heres an example of this happening with CAS cc, but it happens with objects as well Is these any cc in this lot?

well, you can try downloading Better exceptions by Twistedmexi, but i dont know if it will detect this problem
Alternatively, you can try to find it yourself. It has black on it, so you can delete all objects (including doors, lights and windows) with something black in them in one room, zoom out. If the issue persists, move onto another room. If the issue disappears, the object was in the room. While staying zoomed out, start undoing the deletion. Logically, the issue should re-appear the moment the object returns, so you will be able to pinpoint what it is

Wait, i just now noticed that you said « apartmentS », not just one lot Have you already tried disabling mods and scripts, restarting the game and checking again to see if it is even caused by cc?

Try this: - remove all furniture from the lot with that delete tool; - zoom out, if it’s still there, filter all your CC content (first build, then buy) by city living pack and see if any of them look like what you have left; - if yes, this may be a replacement

Hi. All items in the game that sims do not interact with (such as decor) use just one bone: transformBone. Those items you don't need to check. It's just items that sims interact with such as sofas, beds, stoves, fridges, etc. I know that doors use bones. So, just focus on items that sims interact with. Anything that involves a sim using animations. That should help you narrow down what to check.
Rather than remove things one by one, you can try removing for example all beds and see if the problem persists. If it does, remove all sofas (or whatever) and see if the problem persists, and so on. If you remove all sofas and the problem goes away, then you can focus on checking the sofas. Does this make sense?

On the third pic you can see the distortion coming from a specific location. Zoom onto it and try to pin point what it can be. This is most certainly a replacement of some sort, like someone modified an existing tuning and it broke many things that use it.
You can try doing a 50/50 method instead - create a folder elsewhere on the same drive, name it Moved mods 1 or something, move half of the mods there; - start the game. If the issue persists, create Moved mod 2, move half of the remaining mods there; - If the issue disappears, create a folder inside \the sims 4\mods named Try 1 or something, move half of the mods from Moved mods 2; - do this until you can either guess or only one remains
