Hello! I want to ask something
so I made an outfit. but when zooming out, some of the clothes look transparent, showing my sims' skin. What do I need to do? Is it because the clothes are too wide?
Thank You

Hi. We would need to see the package file to know for sure. Most likely the lods (all or this specific one) have more meshgroups then the blend you imported. Export all lods and check how many meshgroups they have

Apologies, lost the thread You did not replace other lods. LOD stands for "level of details". When you zoom out in game, every item in the scene switches to a lower resolution lod to speed up rendering and improve game performance. So you need to create those lower resolution versions of your blend
There are a few unrelated problems: - the feminine and masculine frames differ in shape quite dramatically but not everywhere. Some items ( glasses, hats, rings ) can fit both, so you can enable " Female" and " Male" tags in Gender and age to make it work with both. Torsos differ, so you cannot do this. Instead, you should keep only Male tag and enable both Fashion choices, then the garment will change its shape to fit feminine frame; - when choosing a reference, pic the one that is the closest in shape to yours. It the shirt is shorter, the bottom of your garment will not receive correct data and will clip into pelvis. Right now both weights and uv_1 have to be re-done for this reason; - in the future, in MD model in quads, the mesh will look smoother and be more manageable

Wait, the LOD are 4 right? So I need to replace other LODs too? I really don't know about it...
And also, everytime I want to make a mesh, I need to export the EA mesh that have similar shape with my mesh??? On the video that I use as reference, she said we only need to export the EA mesh once because it can use many times.....
Thank you for your answer and advice^^

Yes, every single time. Either you misunderstood something or should watch a different tutorial, because that was a very noob thing to say, the author must be very new to cc making For a shirt to move and morph like the area of the body it covers, it must receive all the data from ... the area of the body it covers. If the reference ends at the navel but your shirt goes lower, everything below the navel will not receive the correct data and will conflict with the pelvis. But there's more, of course. Like in real world, a gown does not move like the nude legs that it covers, because, unlike pants, it is not split in the middle. So a skirt and nude legs move ( rigging) and morph(uv_1 and vertex paint) very differently. And like in real world, a puffy skirt moves differently from a tight skirt. So the logic is always the same: - find a maxis item that behaves like yours should. Which one of them does? The one that is the closest in overall shape; - transfer all the data responsible for moving and morphing from it; - structure the rest like the original ( lods, meshgroups, etc)

Ini informasi yang sangat membantu! Sekarang saya mengerti cara kerjanya.

Hello, I'm back after a long time^^I've created LODs for my CC according to the thread and everything worked even though I failed several times. But now I understand completely^^
Then I want to ask something else. Every pattern I make for my CC is always blurry like the image below. Meanwhile, the CC that I download from other creators or original EA always has good resolution. Is there a solution to make the pattern or image clear?

Small uv island = small area of the texture occupied by it = less pixels to retain the quality You should delete as much of the body covered by clothing as possible, then put uvs there. Sewing the garment from more patters will make it easier to fit them

I've maximized the UV island but the quality is still blurry.....

After you changed the size of uvs, did you completely remake the textures (rebaked them, then applied the graphic again) or did you just make the texture bigger?
Share the updated blend and package files please
