Ah, now we are on to something...lumping people is wrong. I agree. Discussing actual experiences is legit. I agree. However, you were criticized for the things you chose to say, stevenssimsstuff. I didn't lump you as someone I've never met before on the basis of your religion. I made a very legitimate comparison between what you chose to say, which is an actual instance of this lumping you are now admitting is wrong, and my experiences to point out that the western world needs to get off it's high horse. It doesn't exist. And now you are using tragedy to excuse anti-Muslim rhetoric and that isn't something that I can respect either. Is this the unwelcome mat you want to put out for people here?

Merry927 - I can meet you halfway, on 2 Conditions when it comes to Islam and all the problems Germany has endured with Merkels' Policy so far...actually, the €U as a whole:
1. Show me a Female walk into Mecca without her entire Body covered from Head to Toe - with a Christian Bible in her hand be greeted with acceptance.
2. Show me a few Thousand Migrants show up in your Town, Overnight.
IF THESE ISSUES ARE NON-EXSISTANT, IF THIS IS ALL WESTERN CULTURE MAKE BELIEVE - ANTI MUSLIM AGENDA, it should be very easy to pursuade the Political powers in your' Town to do the same. It should be easy to pusuade the Saudi Government to accept all people into the Motherland of Islam, Mecca - and Treat them with respect, no matter who they are.
Show me the Welcome mat in Mecca, Merry927 - You show me the non exsistant Hatred of anyone non-muslim in Mecca and I can meet you Halfway on that.
Funny Sidenote: In the first Iraq war, we had Camoflauged' Bibles, we were not allowed to practice our' Christian prayers in Public - so as not to disturb any Muslim. That was a Country that we fought for and were given the respect as poo. I have never seen anything change in that respect, please enlighten me if anything has changed - since then.

It's not about me. It's about the blatant negative stereotypes against people, who make up over a billion of the Earth's inhabitants. It's about asserting a non-existent superiority. It's about the message that sends to people using this site.
Muslim women don't need or want to be "white knighted" by people who don't respect them, their loved ones, their culture, or their religion. All I've ever heard is that everything the west does makes dealing with the problems harder. There's no sincerity in this oft stated concern when the "help" is bombing people and starving them with sanctions. And if people in the west are so concerned about Muslim women, why are they the most common target of hate crimes against Muslims...at least here in the U.S.?
The mistake is acting like just because we're white and living in the western world everything that exists is our business. Police your own. That's our responsibility.
So do you plan on owning your choices and words? Or will you continue to create contingencies for refusing to? Because I'm not responsible for your choices and neither is anyone else.

It most certainly is about you, you called me out on my statements - I answered to the best of my ability, about what Life is like when you open your' Borders to people who disrespect non-muslim people and treat non-muslim Women as Sex Objects and scum. I not only stand by my statements, I have lived through my statements. I have no concern about Muslim Women and what they choose to do with their Lives, that is their own personal choice. What I am concerned about are the non-Muslim Women who face abuse by people who come here for Help. I am concerned about people who come here for Help and ignore the Laws by hiding behind their Religion. Edit: The Attacks on New Year's Eve - were not, "Tradgedies"; They were CRIMES.

Merry927, I have been in two different communities in the US where people who have moved there from Muslim countries have demonstrated problems assimilating. The main problem being that the males apparently have a different way of dealing with females in the culture they came from and that way is not acceptable here in the US. I have two relatives with girls under the age of 14 and both of these girls were sexually harassed continually at school by boys from families that recently immigrated from Muslim countries. In each case this same ridiculous cultural relativism argument you're using was brought up by the school system to defend the harasser. In each case the parents had to threaten police involvement before the school system stepped in and stopped the mauling of my female relatives. I personally had a friend in high school who was absolutely brilliant that got to eat her meals sitting on the floor at the feet of her brothers and father. She had won a scholarship to college and her family threatened to throw her out on the street if she accepted it. Instead they married her off to a 40 year old man she barely even knew. She did not want to marry him. She did not want any part of the culture her family was forcing on her. She wanted to live an American life like her friends have. In America and other countries outside the Muslim world policing your own includes making sure that female citizens are not abused by male citizens regardless of their cultural background. That is *our* culture and we're just as entitled to our culture as anyone else is entitled to theirs.
The mistake is acting like just because we're white and living in the Western world that we're always wrong. It is not wrong to believe in and defend a female person's right to live with the same dignity and respect for their person as a male person is afforded. It is not wrong to have a national culture that does not accept behavior that robs females of dignity and respect and it's not wrong to enforce that culture on others who move here. I am fine with people that have a different culture. I'm not so fine with misogyny. There are ways to pursue your culture that don't involve invading the space of others when they don't want it invaded. I will absolutely agree that white people in the US have a long history of aggression to other cultural groups. I will absolutely not agree that this gives any cultural group the right to misogynist behavior.
I would also like to add that while it's fine to have a debate it is not okay to personally attack people or imply things about them based on their age, gender, occupation, religion, or any other characteristic about them. Equating a military person to high school thugs in your town that raped people is stereotyping and it is uncalled for.

It's all Good, Call me what you want....Just don't call me Late for Dinner.
This Debate got kinda' Heated, i hold No Grudges against anyone. I have Muslim Friends, even where i work - I am not out to blame the ENTIRE Muslim Community for the Stupidity of some Migrants, there are Stupid people in all Religions. I was not the Script Writer in this continuing German Dilemma, just a Witness to what is going down thesedays, over here.
Every Human being has a Right to Freedom and to be Treated with Respect - Male, Female alike.
I had posted this Vid, earlier and Deleted the Post, i will leave it up now. It basically states' the ongoing problems with several aspects of SOME, not ALL Muslims on Integration into German Society. These are THEIR WORDS, not mine. I have nothing left to say on the subject, I wish Everyone the Freedom of Choice in Life, to do what you want without Harming others.
