fufu508Thank you for your suggestion, but I had already tried doing that before commenting here, so your suggestion doesn't help me, sadly. And I use Windows 10

Hi trudie, welcome to Studio forums. For some reason it is the case that people in some parts of the world are unable to successfully download Studio from the One Drive link. They get an incomplete version of Studio and their computer calls this incomplete version corrupt because it is missing needed data. For this reason we also host Studio on Drop Box and Baidu. The links for these alternative download sites are on the same page as the Drop Box link but they are listed below it. Please try those links...most people who are unable to get Studio from One Drive are successful when using one of the alternate links. If you still have trouble please post again.

fufu508 Thank you for your suggestion, but I had already tried doing that before commenting here, so your suggestion doesn't help me, sadly. And I use Windows 10 Hi b1rd13, See if these screen shots (Windows 10) help: Locate a package (yours probably already have the S4S logo next to them). Right click on the package and select Open with > Choose another app Click More appsScroll all the way down and click Look for another app on this PC. Navigate to the location of your S4Studio.exe file. Since I use the 7z download instead of the installer I simply navigate to where I extracted it. (if you haven't turned off hiding extensions of known file types, you might not see the .exe part of the filename) Click the S4Studio.exe file. Sims 4 Studio (Sugar) should open, and continue to do so every time you click a package.

fufu508 Hi, I'm sorry but I don't understand why you repeated the steps and attached photos as well? I appreciate the work you've put into it, but like I said before, I have already done that several times, both with the same file over and over or with different files. I did all of it before I posted about my problem on this thread

Hi b1rd13, it's difficult to know exactly why this is happening because you're the only one with access to your computer and who knows what versions and in what format of Studio you're using. If you installed both versions using the installer then Sugar should have overwritten Joy. If you are running Studio out of folders you will need to update your file association so your computer uses Sugar to open .packages instead of Joy.

Hi b1rd13 hopefully my clearer post will help some other folks will run into the same situation. As orangemittens said, we can't tell what happened in your particular situation yet, but if you post screen shots maybe that will help answer the mystery of your particular issue. I also realize you said you can launch the desired version of Sims 4 Studio and it opens files through its menus as expected. Task manager may help find where the old copy (Joy was it?) is running, and you can remove it using the uninstaller (if installed) or deleting it if it was the extracted non-installed version (which is how I run Sims 4 Studio). yunanescaHi Yunie, sorry to hear some of your content seems to have disappeared! I assume it also doesn't show up in CAS if you look for it in the hairs? I don't recognize that particular pony tail, but I like it! Note, I use TS4 Mod manager which stores all my mods separately from the game. And IIRC we can expect that capability (is it already here?) in Sims 4 Studio.

orangemittens & fufu508I am very sorry if I was difficult; I myself feel like I came off rude and I greatly apologize for that I fixed it though. I went into Program and Features on my PC, through Control Panel and Programs, and deleted every trace of both (joy) and (sugar), before then downloading and re-installing (sugar) and now everything works. I can't believe I didn't think of the simplest way to fix it, before bothering you, haha, I'm sorry but it's all good now. Thank you a dozen times for the help and the program!

Hi b1rd13, no worries. It's understandable to become a bit frustrated when something isn't working. I'm very glad to hear that things are working for you now

Some people in forum are commenting that CC are breaking the ability to make sims get dressed into club outfits? Is it true (In Europe we still don't have Get Together)? Will we get a batch fix for old CC?? Thanks for listening.

Hi gaiapuma, this is the first I've heard of the issue but definitely we will look into it. If it's something we can batch fix and EA doesn't want to deal with it on their end then we'll put a batch fix out. Not every problem is amenable to that kind of solution but if this one is we'll provide it It would be helpful to have some specific examples of what the unwanted behavior is if you could provide them.
