I've looked into it and, fortunately, this problem has already been reported to EA and they are looking into it. The issue is that the code has changed and EA is not preserving the full 64 bit instance on CAS Parts that they asked all modding tools to use. If we were to attempt a batch fix for this it would require renumbering the CAS items. That would have the effect of making any Sim wearing a hair/garment/accessory that had been renumbered to be stripped of that item. This would be highly disruptive and aggravating for players. EA has indicated interest in fixing the problem on their end, they've been very good about maintaining backward compatibility for CC, and I have every reason at this point to think we can all expect they will take care of this. That would be the optimal solution so we're waiting to see what they come up with for us

Am I the only on not getting thumbnails showing up in the studio anymore? They show up in CAS but in S4S it's just blank. Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

Hi lexivita, welcome to Studio forums. You aren't the only one. I posted here discussing how to fix the issue: LINK

Is the community tested one updated yet? The website still says "Studio is currently being updated for compatibility with the June 2nd patch. The new version will be ready ASAP " Do I have to uninstall and re-install the new one, or will there just be an update I can download?

So is this Sugar or Jackpot?

The only version of Studio that will be updated for the patch is Jackpot. Once a version has gone to community tested no further updates are done on that version. Sugar has been retired by the patch. You should not need to de-install a previous version of Studio when you install a new one. The new version should overwrite the old on its own.

I have been using the batch updates and fixing my CC using the Sims 4 Studio and I have a question. When it creates the Batch Fix folder and moves FAILED updates to the failed folder does it remove them from your MOD folder?!?!

Hi hockeymomsims, yes it does. If you believe they have been moved in error you can return them to your Sims 4/Mods folder.

Is there a way of getting the light fix patch without downloading the whole s4s? The program is a little to much for me to handle, but I would still have my beautiful CC lighting working.
