Is there a way of getting the light fix patch without downloading the whole s4s? The program is a little to much for me to handle, but I would still have my beautiful CC lighting working. I don't know another way, but after fixing the lights you can uninstall the S4S... |

I think no majavatn. The batch fix is a part at Sims 4 Studio and we´re happy to have it. It´s sad that you don´t give it a try for this tool. Every member was new with this and after spend time it makes really fun to create new things. You can read many tutorials here in the forum to help you with this tool. |

How do i update my s4s. I uninstalled my older version and now have jackpot 2.7.0.8 but kids stuff and backyard stuff are not showing up. How do i get them to show up? Im such a n00b lol ( i do have these two packs in my game)

For every Sims 4 Studio update, I download the zip version, delete the old one, extract the new and move it in my folder. short tutorialThe oldest version is 2.7.0.8 kids stuff but the new version with backyard stuff is not yet out. If you can´t see your kids stuff in S4S please delete your Sims 4 Studio folder. You can find it in pc/documents/Sims4Studio (delete the blue lined folder)  If you go running S4S new this makes a new folder. Then it should work to see the kids stuff |

Used the batch edit and it fixed all 147 of my lights. OMG THANK YOU!!!!  |

How long does the Lighting batch fix usually take to install/update? It has been retuning untuned lights for about 20 minutes now, and I don't know if it just takes a long time, or if the program is stalled out. Thanks for the patch and the awesome program!

The answer depends on the amount of content you have and how fast your computer is. Studio has to check each file to first see if it's a light and then if it's a light that needs to be fixed before it fixes anything.

i have a speedy computer and a poo load of cc ( 14 gigs) it takes some time for mine like 20 minutes at least i suggest subfoldering your cc by main category so when stuff like this happens you can just put the folder "lights" in and have it run with just that folder which is what i now do. When it has only the lights in the mod folder it takes like a couple minutes. If you see the little spinning things its working just let it sit it will get done eventually.

When you say "none" of ,are you saying its crashing, doesn't open, or you can't figure out how to use it? if you are running on windows , following the installation here with the updated current version of studio here then it should be working just fine. There is no error with sims 4 studio just " not working" so there just might be a simple issue with how it installed. As for the batch fixes in studio those also work just fine with an updated and correctly installed version of studio, it just can take some time for it to run . The sims studio might say "not responding" while it does its thing if you have a slower pc but if you let it set there it should do its job. |

Is there someone that has Jackpot version 2.7.0.8? 2.7.0.9 refuses to open at all on my laptop... It closes immediately in task manager without showing up on desktop, with along with Windows problem reporter showing up.
I just need S4s to fix the script call failed error with my CC lights...

Hi redamethyst, the error that you posted in the other thread says that your computer is not letting Studio delete it's old log files (When Studio starts up, one of the first things it does is delete any of its log files that are over 5 days old). You may be able to get around this by running Studio as an administrator. If running as an administrator works for you, then you or whoever maintains your computer may want to adjust the security settings so that Studio is allowed to manage its own files without requiring administrative access.

Thank you for the reply. I figured it was about administrative rights. I am the owner of the computer, and the account I use is the administrator, meaning it has the rights for everything regardless of the application... so this is what I do not understand. I kept trying to check the security settings, everything is checked... S4s is allowed to manage its own files without requiring administrative access... Running it as administrator is not working at all. Any idea as to what am I doing wrong?
Edit: I thought I would try enabling the hidden elevated Administrator account just to check if it works, and it does. But for obvious security reasons, I am not comfortable using it and this account is completely separated meaning it does not even have my Sims 4 files, rendering the entire operation useless. I am going to check the settings this hidden admin account has... Because this is getting ridiculous. I cannot run S4s at all.
