Hi guys! I am a newbie to the sims 4 studio. I have repriced a lot of my custom content with this tool (absolutely love it!), but I want to reprice a couple of the maxis original items just to get them out of my way, and I can't figure out how to find and open the maxis package files under my projects. Can someone please explain to me how to do this, just to reprice things, not to recolor - not yet anyway!

Hi. In s4s main menu, under Objects, choose Override, then on Objects. Find the right item, clone it, saving in Mods folder, change the price

Thank you for your help. I have tried this, but it tells me that i don't have permission to save a file in this location. How do i get said permission to save this file?

Ok - so i have ran it as administrator, was able to save the file in s4s mods folder and change the price, then saved. But it is still showing up in the game as the original $8. What am I doing wrong?

I have tried this now with several maxis objects. I hit override, then object, find the object, give the file a name (have tried both the exact same maxis name AND original names), then it opens the object. I have either changed the price or changed the category for it to show up in, then hit save. It tells me the file is saved, but when I go into the game, the object is still at its original price, or still in the original category and not in the new category, so the override isn't working. The package is saved in the s4s mods file, and when I open it, it displays the new price, or new category on that saved file. Any idea what is going wrong? I have tried uninstalling s4s, deleting the document file, and reinstalling, but that didn't help either. I think this should probably be an easy process, so I don't know what I am doing wrong here!

I solved my mystery! I just needed to copy them over to the sims 4 mod folder from the s4s mods folder. Now all are showing up properly! thank you so much to the creators and administrators of this tool. I just love it!!!
