I downloaded some CC and edited it in S4S to add a new swatch to it. The color works just fine in S4S, but when I load the CC into CAS, my new color isn't there. I've tried making a new swatch, replacing the texture on a pre-existing swatch, and saving the .package under a different name. No dice. Is this a common issue or am I doing something wrong? I haven't been able to find an answer on search engines.

Are you sure you have put the file in the correct mod folder? There are two, one for the game and one for Sims4studio. You'll need to put the file in the game Mods folder for them to show ingame.
Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods <-- this one

There can even be a third and a forth ones, duplicated of aforementioned folders on Onedrive

did you create this package by choosing Create swatch and clicking on CAS or did you re-name an existing package? You can check the exact path here, after opening the package with My projects. If this path contains "Onedrive", try saving in the same location but without onedrive  |

I think I've found the issue. The new colors show up on female sims, but not male sims. Letting male sims wear the CC in feminine style allowed me to access the version with the new colors. It looks like the meshes are slightly different between the two styles; how do I modify the male style? Do I have to unmerge the package?

Go to Categories and enable Masculine in Fashion choice. If wont work, unmerge first
