Hello! I saw a thread about this from 2019, and nothing in said thread worked for me so I wanted to ask here. I am looking to edit a CAS part made by someone else so it will have the voice muffle effect, similar to the mandalorian and vader helmet in base game. I've tried changing it to a hat instead of glasses, which didnt work[and i'd like to keep it as glasses anyhow], and tried changing the voice hash in the warehouse to the same as other items that muffle the voice, which someone in the aforementioned thread said they tried and worked , but it didnt seem to work for me. Would appreciate some help. The CAS part in question is a partial gas mask covering the mouth under the glasses category. Sorry if I'm over-explaining myself but I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a while
[I'd also like to add that I'm very much not the best with the technical stuff and i may need things explained to me like a 7 year old lol]
EDIT: A friend pointed out to me that I could take a set of horns categorized as a hat and use that to muffle the Sim I'm trying to put this on's voice if making a set of glasses muffle isnt possible. Would that be more viable and how would I go about it?

Hi. I put a vader's helmet on a sim to listen to the voice and it sounded the same. It is the same for you? Perhaps this feature is broken somehow?

I was using the mandalorian helmet as a basis myself, as it was the one i knew for a fact worked, and it definitely muffles the voice. I didnt try with the vader helmet but i can next time i open the game. I was going to try to copy and paste the voice muffle code in the warehouse section to a hat instead of a set of glasses, because i realized maybe its just not possible with glasses, but i wouldn't doubt if the feature might be a bit busted. Or maybe you have a mod that negates it, although i have no idea what could do that! Strange,,
