I'd like to replace the in-game pizza and pizza box with imagery of a local business here in my town. I've done a ton of modding in the past as far as adding new items that can be purchased and making custom videos for the TV, but I don't think I've ever replaced/overridden any food items before and want to make sure I do it correctly.
Basically, I want to make it so any time a Sim orders a pizza, the box that shows up is the custom one of the local business and the pizza inside looks like theirs as well. I've got the custom images I need and am refreshing up on how to find and extract the in-game items that need to be re-skinned. But, not quite clear on if I'm supposed to choose "override" or one of the other object options in S4S, and after I'm done in Photoshop, do I save as a package file for the mods folder, or use a different format and put the new files somewhere else?
Probably dumb questions, but I've been away a long time and am trying to get re-familiar with everything.
Could someone give me a quick how-to, or point me to a tutorial that explains exactly how to do what I'm wanting?
Thanks!

Hi. - under Object choose Override, click on Object; - enable Show debug items; - in the search bar type in pizza, find the right item, clone, save in ts4's Mods folder, export textures; - edit in photoshhop, re-import.

Hi there. Thank you for your reply. One question I have is when you say "clone", do you mean save as a package file in the Mods folder, then export textures, edit and re-import?

Yes, cloning is when you choose something in the catalog, click next, save it, basically creating a clone of an existing object

Thank you for your help! I got the standard pizza box put in. But, I notice there are several results in S4S when I search "pizza" that don't have any preview thumbnails. I don't know what they are until I click one of the blank results and save a new package. Then it shows it to me. Is that normal?

I think these are variations, like recolors with different data assigned. All those pizza flavors are just different textures with different identifiers instead of individual meshes
