Trigger python function with sim interaction?

Hello guys. I'm just started learning how to make mods and I need to learn how to trigger my python function with clicking on the interaction i made. They work correctly separately. my interaction button appears in the correct place. also, when i type the command i defined in the python section into the cheat console, it works. but i want to combine these two features. how can i trigger the python function when i click the interaction button? i would be happy if you could help me, i am having trouble understanding.
