Hey loves!
I've mastered the art of pose making, and would like to move onto using accessories with them. How do I add an accessory into Blender when making a pose?

Is the question how to get an accessory into Blender or how to make the accessory be in the correct place in the game?

It's roughly the same question orangemittens ! I know in TS3, you can get a prop into blender so you can make a pose around the object. So I essentially want to know is there a way to get an objects (eg. a cigarette/phone) into blender so you can then make a pose assocciated with it instead of guessing/gauging how close the fingers should be around it etc. If that makes sense?

If you want an object that you've exported from Studio to be in the same scene as the Sim model you can append the meshes after exporting the LOD 0. To do that go to File and select Append: Navigate to where you saved the exported LOD and select it. This will give you a list of the LOD contents. Click the Object folder. Select the meshes: Alternatively, if you're using an object that is in .obj format you can just import that right into the scene with the model: Once you've done either of these options the object will pop up with the model in the scene. Generally the item will appear at the origin so it will be in the same place as the model is standing. To move an item so it stays on the "floor" right click on the object, click the g key on your keyboard to initiate Blender's move feature, click the Shift key and the z key to limit motion in the x and y direction, and then move your mouse until the object is moved where you want it. If you want to move it upward instead of keeping it on the floor just click the g key without the Shift + z keys. Right mouse click again when it is in the place you want: Alternatively, you can leave the object at the origin and move the model as you usually move the model when posing. Either way, after you've imported or appended the object and are ready to begin posing the model, just right mouse click any joint on the model and you will be back in Pose mode ready to make your pose: Once you're done posing the model set your keyframe as usual and save the .blend as usual. Studio will ignore the object when you import your pose.blend back into the .package.

orangemittens.. okay I'm about to pull my hair out now. I don't know if I'm the only one this happens to, but when I make a pose in blender, it poses in the opposite way in-game. I came to terms with this. I made a selfie pose pack. One of the poses does exactly what I just described (mirrored pose), but the other two poses came out exactly how they were in blender. Meaning the accessory (phone) I'm using can't be used for 2 out of 3 poses. Is there a way I can get the two poses that aren't mirrored to become mirrored or do I have to make the poses all over again?
