Another great tutorial. There is no doubt that you deserve to be named "Professor of the Year". Thank you so much for everything.

I think there is a problem with the decalfootprint.binary and the Harmony's version 3.0.0.3.

I think you may be running into the bug Peacemaker reported in the bug thread. This issue will get fixed in the next version of Harmony.

chilli This tutorial is for you to be able to place OTHER items in your item. For example, if your item is a table and don't allow things to be placed on top you need to edit the footprint. However, if you want your item to be placed into other things. You need to edit their Slotting behaviour. Then you need to look at THIS tutorial.

Translation: What project are you trying to edit the footprint in? Remember that if you clone your item as Standalone Recolor the option of editing the footprint won't be available because it takes the original. To be able to edit the footprint you need to clone as Create 3d mesh or as a Selective Clone ticking the footprint from the list.

Could you provide an English translation? I do not speak Spanish, unfortunately.

She is saying that she cannot import the decal footprint using the Standalone Recolor option. I told to her already that she needs to use "Create 3d mesh" to be able to do so... She is saying that in earlier versions of Studio that was available.
Gabriela, Para poder importar la "huella" debes seleccionar "Crear nueva Malla", "Crear entrada de catálogo" no funcionará para poder importar ese recurso.

Super useful info? But does this allow for an item to be place on top of itself?

Super useful info? But does this allow for an item to be place on top of itself? For an item to be placed on top of itself, for example a wooden box on top of itself, your item needs to have a slot on top of it and the possibility for itself to be placed onto slots. For adding slots, take a look at the " How to use Sims4Studio's Slot editor" tutorial first. After that, for making your object have the possibility to be placed onto slots, go to: - Warehouse and click on the Object Catalog line. - On the right side, scroll down until you see a line called "Slotting Behaviour". - Now you can choose to use one of the following numbers: 0 = will not sit on a surface, so like floor objects 1 = will sit in small, medium, and large slots 2 = will sit in medium and large slots 3 = will sit in large slots So if you used the tutorial above to add a medium slot on top of your object, you'll need to add either the number 1 or the number 2 to the slotting behaviour line. Hope this helps answering your question.

Hi, I followed this tutorial and I think I'm missing another step to making my object functional, but I can't find an answer in my searches. I'm trying to take a debug cart and make it into a pumpkin carving station. I was able to make it buyable, and copy all the tags and tuning from the original pumpkin carving station, but there is no tab for Rigs/Slots as there should be. I was hoping after I did this and saved it it might show up, but it didn't, and I tried it in-game to see if I was just oblivious, but it's still unclickable and objects fall through just like it's still debug. Sorry, I'm still new at this. If anyone can look at my file or just let me know what step I'm missing I'd really appreciate it!
