I had a go at a vase last night, the textures need work but this is where they are so far. These are just the test textures, I will experiment some more over the next few days, tweaking the UV might help with the rim lining up. Front & back view The Vase on the left is great, nice job!

Thanks Marty Moose, they were really rough unfinished textures too. Vase Threadroguekurosawa12, I have posted the tests in the thread above. I have searched everywhere for the glass pattern on your picture (star cutting and rough diamonds) but I can't for the life of me find it? Or the pattern for the green vase. I'm sorry. I can do similar patterns, and am in the process of making another vase with a shaped bottom (celery vase) that I can put a similar patten on. Let me know if you are happy with that compromise I'm off to get some zzzzz back in the morning.

Oh okay Yeah some of the designs might be a little hard to find as a lot of them are sadly obsolete now. There is one pattern I was able to find out the name too though, the big glass punch bowl's design is supposed be the Horseshoe Daisy Pattern. Thank you so much for working on the glassware items It's hard to find older items on the Sims Mods sites, most of the content there is super modern which makes it harder to blend with older styled homes.

This is a google image of a punch bowl with the pattern mentioned above. The pattern though is sometimes called Pinwheel pattern from what I could see.

A lot of glass patterns are in archives but are very hard to reproduce because the ones I found are the original drawings. I've enjoyed making them. so no worries. The above pictures are great, I try to take the photos and use them as textures but need a face on position like the above I was stuck on the new vase last night but will have another go today, glass textures are trickisy to work with. Do you have a particular era? I searched from 1920-1970 after looking at your pictures but wasn't sure if I was even close to what you had in mind. Oh and just a note, I've never made a cup (thinking punchbowl) and am not sure if I'm that good yet so it may be a while before I get around to those, plus I suspect making a set would be very poly heavy. to achieve a good rounded shapes means lots of polys and faces. I could make beautiful vases and bowls with a ton of detail but they would never load in the Sims 4 Edit- Ok here's what I got for the glass vase. It was by far the most complicated texture I've worked with. I hope its ok. I might add some more textures on the mesh tomorrow but not anything like this one for size comparison, the other vase can now be found in The Shed

Oh okay, it's no rush at all please take your time . Yeah those are really nice ^^, thank you so much!. Yeah the picture I showed was of a punch bowl. Awhile back I was on an Antique Collectibles site that said the origin of that type of punch bowl design was somewhere from 1850 to about the turn of the century. Replicas were beginning to be produced though in the 1920s to about the late 1950s. Okay thank you for continuing to try on some more glassware, seriously, thank you lol ^^. My grandmother had the same punch bowl and I have it now, but I'm trying to make my childhood home in the Sims 4 as a commemorative house. The house was built about 1850 to 1855 so the house has a older layout and when my grandmother passed, some of her heirlooms to the family were the punch bowl and her dining room sets which she had for about 60 years.

Ah now I understand why I had more luck the further back I searched. Your idea is brilliant, to be honest I did wonder if it was something along those lines as the objects were specific. I'm happy you think the vase is ok I had to do each panel separately, as I couldn't find the real pattern I used Waterford Crystals Seahorse design, as it seemed to be the best fit and effect. I don't think I will add more textures to that mesh. I will leave it as it is, for your grandmother I will take some pictures and post it in the shed, will be around an hour I guess. Working on pieces from the 1800's and early part of last century has sparked my interest I went through the cottage thing in S2 and had embraced modern with a passion. But I have never thought about those eras. I understand that the furniture and decoration was very ornate, a real challenge for this game.

Thank you so much Freeasabird ^^, thank you! . Yeah I'm suspecting that may be the reason why a lot of creators don't mess with older era furniture, fixtures, and glassware cause it's more ornate which makes them more complex to recreate digitally :(, but I still have hope . Thank you so much Freeasabird :").

Lol . The items are not just for me though, even though I do need them real bad, but they are for a lot of other Simmers who are looking for similar items. That's why I made this thread to try and see if any creators could try and make some of these items. I plan to add more pictures of furniture, glass, beds, etc... in the hopes of maybe some creators would be inspired or motivated to make something different than just modern modern stuff. Some modern stuff is nice but when it begins to look like a space ship or something it begins to be a little weird, this is my opinion though on it lol.
