Hey, is there a way to batch un-merge files? I have a feeling i have duplicate files and to check that out i need to un-merge all my files. I can only see 1 option and that is to un-merge files 1 by 1 which would take forever as i have alot of merged files, let alone alot of CC lol.
Does S4S also allow to specify a folder and merge all content in it including all sub folders? Dropping a folder into the "Merge" window does nothing. Browsing through all sub folders with 1-30 package files manually would take very long so I copied all files into one folder.
I created a few packages starting S4s multiple times as S4S is processing the files single-threaded which takes very long. An option to create 8 or more files would be nice.

I am really unclear what is happening with my merges. When I get into Sims after a merge I am missing a lot of the CC that was in the merge. It just isn't showing up. I have batch fixed. I have reset my folder completely. I just have no clue what is happening. I didn't have this issue at all pre-cottage living. Any idea what might be going on?

I have a question about adding items to a merged package file. You know when you open a merged package file in my projects, and on the right side tab there is an option to edit the packages? Well I see you can remove package files quite easily, but how do you add package files? When I click add it just creates a .package (blank package file). Too bad you can't just drag and drop. So how would I go about adding files without having to first un-merge it?
EDIT - Nevermind lol, I just now saw the answer on the first page of this post. I was completely unaware that I can add an already merged package file with new/more package files to make a whole new merged file. I didn’t realize that studio will automatically check and remove any duplicates and that it is safe to have a merged package file inside another merged package file. Knowing this will now save me a lot of time!! :D
If you want all the swatches to show up on a single catalog entry you need to follow this tutorial:
The merge .package feature keeps each .package the same as it was before you merged it and places them all into a single .package. The other tutorial shows how to make the swatches of different .packages show up in a single catalog entry in the game.
If you use both the tutorials together you will end up with a single .package and all the swatches of each present with just one catalog entry.
Hi it seems that this link isn't working anymore. Is there any other way to get this done, by any chance? I have a lot of cc from different websites which are recolors of one single cc so it would be very nice to have all in one single item with only different swatches instead of 10 single packages referencing one package.
