simoxomis You can use this to clear up your Mod folder. For example, if you got 20 different make-up recolors, you can merge them all to one package. Or if you made some recolors yourself of let's say a painting. You made 10 different packages for a recolor of one painting. This way you can merge them all into one. For both examples counts that nothing else will be changed like the place you find them in game for example. It will all stay the same. You can even merge different objects like a chair, painting, wallpaper and car for example. For getting CC in TS4S, all you have to do is placing these package files into TS4S Mod folder, which you can find here: C:\Users\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods >>> This is NOT the same Mod folder as you use for getting CC into your game<<< Hope this helps

So I have like over 6000 cc in my game. I can use this to merge all the packages together and my game will still work and hopefully be faster loading? Can I merge all the packages together in 1 lump or should I do a few?

Can I merge all the packages together in 1 lump or should I do a few? Yes, you can try to merge them all together, but I think that would take ages. Maybe you can merge all Buy-Mode things together and all paintings or all furniture. Remember that you can't separate them after merging, so save all packages to a external hard disk or somewhere else on your computer. If you want to delete one single object, you have to delete the whole merged packaged for that. So think wisely

Hi, Is there a way to merge 4 clothes packages in the game as well? I am working in those sweatshirts part of the same collection (each one of them has a diferent specular) and I would it to be the same thumbnail in the CAS

There is. You need to open the first sweatshirt in the Warehouse tab and get the PrototypeID from it. Then open each of the others and paste that number into CASPart's PrototypeID line in them: All swatches with the same PrototypeID will show up on the same catalog entry.

Hello orangemittens. This is my first time attempting creating cc. I tried to merge about 30 files into one. I've tried about 3 or 4 times now. Each time, the program shows that the merge was successful, and I have a new file in my folder. When I open the file however, only the first swatch appears. Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Once a .package has been merged with another .package Sims 4 Studio won't be able to open that merged .package correctly on the Studio tab anymore. This is because the Studio tab is designed to only work on one .package at a time and it cannot sort out multiple .packages. Once you've merged .packages the only place the merged .package should go is into your Sim 4 game Mods folder. If you decide you need to make changes to a .package that is in the merged.package you will need to make those changes and then create a new merged .package using all the other .packages you merged the first time and the newly updated .package you changed.

I see. Thank you for the help. I tested the merged package in game, but only one colour swatch (#1) shows up in game. All of the packages have the same product ID and #30 shoes up as the item's thumbnail. What might I be doing wrong?
