I'm trying to make a set of objects, and they show up fine in S4S, but when I try to preview them in game, they aren't in the catalog. I BELIEVE I set the cuts properly, and i've rigged them to the transform bone, replaced all LODs and textures, but I have no idea why they won't show up.

Hi toskami, did you clone debug items for the set?...if so you will need to make them buyable for them to show up in the catalog. If you cloned standard items (not debug) please post your .package(s) so someone can take a look

simfil.es/62058 here is the package, and orangemittens, I originally cloned it from the Hipster Hugger Sofa, which was an unlock item, but i used the option to make it buyable with S4S, so I don't know what's wrong.

I just tested the .package you shared and it worked fine for me. Do you have another file in your mods folder that may be conflicting? If not try and place the sofa again. If it works this time you're good to go. If not, exit the game immediately and look in your Sims 4 documents folder for a lastexception.txt file. If there is one there can you copy/pasta into a spoiler.

hello I have the same problem. I converted several objects few days ago (with creator's permission of course) and when I went in game to check them out only three out of 20 appeared. I scanned them with mod conflictor and they are, except those 3, conficting with one another. I used bowl with fruits as a base for all of them. Is there any way to fix it? Apart from converting them again?

mallmarr Put your files in the Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder (see image). You can follow THIS for objects and instead of using the recolor or 3d mesh options use selective clone and make sure to have all of the check boxes filled. You can follow THIS for CAS parts.

Hi mallmarr, what Brujah was saying is that you need to make each item separately by cloning the original as custom content. What you have done here is copied a .package, renamed the copy, edited it to swap out the meshes, and then put that copy.package into the Sims 4/Mods folder with the .package you copied it from. What this means is that you have multiple .packages in your Mods folder that, for all intents and purposes, are the same. The game can only show you one of these .packages at a time and which one it chooses to show at any given time is determined randomly.
Copying a .package and renaming the copy does not make a new, standalone item. You must clone a .package so that Studio can renumber it internally...the internal renumbering is what makes it unique so that the game recognizes it as something new. If the .package you want to copy is a custom content item you need to clone that .package as custom content using one of the tutorials Brujah linked above.
