Hi betabius, in looking at the garment it appears that you have somehow chopped the arms off of studio mesh 3, renamed the new group to 1.001, and then parented it to Studio mesh 3: You need to unparent it. To do so select the arm group, click the space bar on your keyboard, and type Clear Parent into the resulting pop up. Then select Clear Parent. This will cause a second pop up. Select Clear Parent again. Now that the group is no longer parented it will show up on its own line instead of being incorporated into the studio mesh 3 line. You will note that it has a cut number of 0: Studio mesh 1 also has a cut number of 0. What is happening when you import this is that Studio can accept only 1 mesh with a cut number of 0 and your .blend has two meshes with this cut number. It is accepting the arm mesh group and ignoring the small cuff mesh group. This is why that gap is appearing. I looked at the item you cloned this from and the arms should be in the studio mesh 3 group. To fix the problem, once you have unparented the arms from studio mesh 3 you need to join them with studio mesh 3. To do that click the arm group, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, and select studio mesh 3. Once both are selected click Ctrl and j at the same time. This will cause the arms to rejoin the torso part of the garment. Save that .blend and import it back to your .package and the item will look correct:

I see, thank you sooo much! I'm used to Metasequoia and Blender is something completely new for me. Thank you for your time.

Hi guys, not sure if I should be posting this here since this thread is old. But after I follow the tutorial for shortening a mesh, (I'm shortening a long sleeved shirt) it doesn't change when I import it back into S4S. And I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here it is in Blender And then here it is in S4S after I re-import the mesh I fixed in blender.

I tried doing it with a shirt, but when I opened it in blender there was nothing saying "S4_studio_mesh 2"? There was nothing underneath the part called rig... Help?!

Hi themelon, what item are you working with. Can you show a screen of what it looks like in Blender?

themelon, try exporting again and look to see if you receive an error of any kind. If you don't see one on the screen check your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Logs folder to see if there is an error message there.

I tried exporting the mesh again and it still didn't show in blender, I checked the log and there were no error messages.

Another thing I noticed is that, when I edit an object mesh, the S4_studio_mesh does appear

Does this happen with every CAS mesh you export?
