I downloaded a Sim character, built with the latest patch. My patch is older, a message pops up in my game library: What if i don´t want any new update? Is there a chance to "activate" the character, without a new patch? So i can play with it in my game?

Hello Rafael,
up to my knowledge you can load old cc with a newer version of the game, but you cannot load new cc with an older version of the game. You will have to either restrict yourself to using cc made with versions of the game lower or equal to your own ... or patch your game.

anska Thank you for your answer, yes i know it. I just wonder if there is a slight chance, to evade this with tray files?

anska Thank you for your answer, yes i know it. I just wonder if there is a slight chance, to evade this with tray files? That's a Good Question...but, as far as i know, the Character would have to be placed into the World somewhere, to even show up in a Tray file....or, would it? Was thinking...if the Character was Downloaded and is in Your Library Que somewhere, where does Origin keep that info? I don't think it would be in the Tray Folder...hmmm, need a Beer - Long Day.
